Platform & Values
Kaysville has long been known as Utah’s quintessential “All-American” small town — a place where neighbors wave as they pass, families gather at community events, and Main Street still feels like the heart of it all. As our city continues to grow and modernize, it's more important than ever to protect the values, traditions, and character that make Kaysville special. That means thoughtfully managing development, supporting local businesses, preserving historic neighborhoods, and ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same tight-knit, family-friendly community we know and love today. My commitment is to ensure that progress doesn’t come at the cost of our identity — that Kaysville remains a place where small-town values and big opportunities thrive side by side.
Platform
Cyber Security & Infrastructure
With a professional background in IT and cybersecurity, I understand that real modernization isn’t just about upgrading systems, it’s about protecting them. From utility meters and traffic signals to emergency response networks and public records, nearly every system in our city now depends on technology, and every one of them needs cybersecurity.
As cities modernize, these systems become more connected and more vulnerable to cyber threats. I bring the experience needed to ensure that these critical services are not just efficient and user-friendly, but also secure.
Cyberattacks on cities are on the rise, and Kaysville shouldn’t wait to take action. My goal is to help our city embrace smart upgrades—like improved digital tools, streamlined communication systems, and better public access to information—while also safeguarding residents’ privacy, financial data, and essential services. I’m ready to help Kaysville build that foundation—securely and responsibly.
A Bridge Between Tradition & Tomorrow
Leadership isn’t about age—it’s about accountability, integrity, and a willingness to listen. I may represent a younger generation, but I bring a deep respect for the values that built this community and a fresh determination to carry them forward.
I’m running not just to lead today, but to help develop tomorrow’s leaders. Our city needs a new generation that’s prepared to serve with purpose. That starts with mentorship, civic education, and creating opportunities for young people to get involved, ask questions, and learn how our local government works.
I understand that some voters may be hesitant to support someone younger, but I see that as a responsibility, not a setback. My generation is invested in making sure Kaysville thrives for decades to come. I’m not running to replace wisdom, but to build upon it, with energy, transparency, and long-term vision. We need a bridge between tradition and innovation. I’m ready to be that bridge—and to help others cross it, too.
Balanced Growth & Housing
Growth is inevitable, but how we grow is up to us. I believe in balanced development that safeguards our quality of life. That means ensuring new housing is matched with reliable infrastructure and zoning that respects the character of our neighborhoods while offering affordable, family-friendly choices.
Entry-Level, Owner-Occupied Homes
Kaysville needs more opportunities for young families to put down roots. I will support developments that emphasize entry-level, owner-occupied, single-family homes, helping more families build equity and invest in our community. Prioritizing ownership over speculation strengthens neighborhoods, preserves stability, and maintains the small-town feel we all value.
Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs)
We can also expand options through carefully managed ADUs. Well-designed, detached ADUs create gentle density, income opportunities for homeowners, and housing for aging parents or young adults. I will champion standards that keep these units small in scale, require adequate on-site parking, and preserve the look and feel of our neighborhoods.
Most importantly, I’m committed to giving residents a voice. I will push for transparent land-use decisions, clear communication, and data-driven solutions that manage growth without overloading schools, roads, or utilities.
