Platform & Values

Kaysville has long been known as Utah’s quintessential “All-American” small town — a place where neighbors wave as they pass, families gather at community events, and Main Street still feels like the heart of it all. As our city continues to grow and modernize, it's more important than ever to protect the values, traditions, and character that make Kaysville special. That means thoughtfully managing development, supporting local businesses, preserving historic neighborhoods, and ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same tight-knit, family-friendly community we know and love today. My commitment is to ensure that progress doesn’t come at the cost of our identity — that Kaysville remains a place where small-town values and big opportunities thrive side by side.
Platform
Cyber Security & Infrastructure

With a professional background in IT and cybersecurity, I understand that real modernization isn’t just about upgrading systems, it’s about protecting them. From utility meters and traffic signals to emergency response networks and public records, nearly every system in our city now depends on technology, and every one of them needs cybersecurity.

As cities modernize, these systems become more connected and more vulnerable to cyber threats. I bring the experience needed to ensure that these critical services are not just efficient and user-friendly, but also secure.

Cyberattacks on cities are on the rise, and Kaysville shouldn’t wait to take action. My goal is to help our city embrace smart upgrades—like improved digital tools, streamlined communication systems, and better public access to information—while also safeguarding residents’ privacy, financial data, and essential services. I’m ready to help Kaysville build that foundation—securely and responsibly.

A Bridge Between Tradition & Tomorrow

Leadership isn’t about age—it’s about accountability, integrity, and a willingness to listen. I may represent a younger generation, but I bring a deep respect for the values that built this community and a fresh determination to carry them forward.

I’m running not just to lead today, but to help develop tomorrow’s leaders. Our city needs a new generation that’s prepared to serve with purpose, not politics. That starts with mentorship, civic education, and creating opportunities for young people to get involved, ask questions, and learn how our local government works.

I understand that some voters may be hesitant to support someone younger, but I see that as a responsibility, not a setback. My generation grew up here. We’re raising families here. And we’re invested in making sure Kaysville thrives for decades to come. I’m not running to replace wisdom—I’m running to build on it, with energy, transparency, and long-term vision.

We need a bridge between tradition and innovation. I’m ready to be that bridge—and to help others cross it, too.

Balanced Growth & Housing

Growth is inevitable—but how we grow is up to us. I believe in thoughtful, balanced development that safeguards our quality of life. That means matching new housing with reliable infrastructure—water, power, emergency services—so no one is left behind. It also means zoning and planning that respect the character of our neighborhoods while offering affordable choices for families, seniors, and first‑time buyers.

One tool I’m excited to advance is the accessory dwelling unit (ADU). By expanding access—particularly to well‑designed, detached ADUs—we can add gentle density, create income opportunities for homeowners, and give aging parents or young adults a place to live close to family. I will champion standards that keep these units small in scale, require adequate on‑site parking, and encourage environmentally efficient construction so they add housing without overloading streets, utilities, or the look and feel we all love.

Most importantly, I’m committed to giving residents a voice in every step of our city’s growth. I will push for transparent land‑use decisions, clear communication, and data‑driven solutions that manage density without straining our schools, roads, and utilities.

Empowering Youth Through Community

As a wrestling coach, small business owner, and soon-to-be father, I’ve seen firsthand how much potential our young people have and how important it is that we give them the support, structure, and guidance they need to thrive.

Our youth are not just the future—they're a vital part of our community today. I’m committed to strengthening opportunities for mentorship, leadership development, and community involvement for the next generation. Whether it’s supporting youth sports, expanding civic education, or encouraging service and trades programs, I believe in helping kids build confidence, character, and a sense of responsibility.

When young people feel seen, supported, and empowered, they rise to the occasion. That’s what I want for my own child, and for every child growing up in Kaysville. I’ll advocate for practical policies that connect schools, families, and local government in meaningful ways—and ensure our city is a place where kids can grow into strong, grounded leaders. Strong communities don’t happen by accident. They’re built—one generation at a time.
